THE AMBITION AUDIT - YOUR RESULTS
You know exactly what you want. The path is the only missing piece
WHAT YOUR RESULTS SHOW
Your ambition is not the problem. The gap is strategy, not vision
You scored highest as The Dreamer. That means your ambition is alive, present, and clear. You can see exactly where you want to go. You feel it when you watch other women operating at the level you know you are capable of. The frustration is not doubt. It is the distance between a vision you cannot stop thinking about and a concrete plan that does not yet exist. That gap is solvable. And it is not as wide as it feels right now
“The women who move fastest are not the ones who want it most. They are the ones who
stopped waiting for a better moment to start.”
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
THE PATTERN
You get energised by possibility then overwhelmed by the gap between where you are and where you want to be. The plan never quite comes together.
WHAT CHANGES
A roadmap built around how you actually work, what you already have, and where the real leverage points are in your specific situation
A STORY FROM JACQUI
WHAT YOU DO NOT NEED
More inspiration. More evidence that you want this. More vision. You have all of that. What you need is a specific, honest, personal strategy
WHAT YOU ARE CLOSER TO THAN YOU THINK
Women who already know what they want make the biggest leaps. You are not starting from zero. You are starting from vision, which is the hardest part
FROM FINANCIAL SERVICES TO FOUNDING THE AMBITION COLLECTIVE
I knew exactly what I wanted. I could see the role, the level, the kind of leader I wanted to become. What I did not have was a strategy for getting there, and a boss who was actively betting I would not bother trying. He did not want me on the leadership programme. His reasoning, which I only found out later, was that he assumed I would have a child and leave. So he tried to keep me out of it. I got on it anyway. And from that programme, I spotted the route into the CSM team that nobody else had thought to take. A year later I was promoted to Lead. Two years after that, Head Of.
The vision was never the problem. It was always there. What changed was the moment I stopped waiting for permission to act on it and built a strategy that worked for who I actually was, not who I was supposed to be.

YOUR THREE MOVES THIS WEEK
Write down the vision as specifically as you can. Not aspirations. The actual role, the actual level, the actual version of your career you keep imagining. Get it out of your head and onto paper.
Identify one person already operating where you want to be. Not to compare yourself. To study the route. What did they do in the two years before they got there?
Name one opportunity in front of you right now that you have been talking yourself out of. Not a theoretical opportunity. A real one. What would it take to move toward it this week
